Crew Rest Optimizer is a comprehensive application to calculate pilot rest breaks and help crews optimize break and work schedules. . Multi break patterns and options are available with just one tap. . Only four entries are needed to generate a break schedule. . Changes to any input automatically updates the break schedule. . Break schedules can be viewed in both a compact textual format and two expanded graphical displays (break & work). . The graphical displays provide Window of Circadian Low (WOCL) and on duty time information for each pilot. This occurs when the total break time available is not evenly divisible by the number of breaks to a whole minute. The application calculates breaks to the second and rounds the displays to the closest minute. This will result in one break being 1 minute less and the other being 1 minute more. Adds option for 3 crew (single augmented) split breaks. When a legality rule is selected split breaks are available if the break time is long enough to create breaks that are no shorter than the min break time set in Settings and a legal break could be created with some combination of break assignments. 2.
